Grand Tour Calabria

12 days tour

Grand Tour Calabria

per person

To design a tour in Calabria – the best destinations, art, monuments and landscape in a few days – is not an easy work. There are many things to do, many places to visit.

So we thought about the famous travelers of the eighteenth and nineteenth century Grand Tour, their slow discovery and the arduous learning of the territory, which sometimes also reserved moments of tension. But the offspring of the noble families of Europe, the writers, poets, geographers, anthropologists, botanists, soldiers, explorers of all kinds needed to go into the ventricles of the southern heart, to know in depth the millennial culture of the various places that make up the sublime mosaic of the South Italy.

Calabria – a thriving land of medieval villages, the cradle of Magna Grecia and the custodian of the immeasurable Byzantine heritage – has always been a mysterious object and desired by travelers. By imagining an itinerary that is a true exploration of the memorable things of a territory, we have selected the centers with the highest tourist appeal, which are eternal postcards, such as Tropea, Scilla, Le Castella or Gerace. Led by the local tourist guide, you can plan the complete tour in Calabria, the best destinations are waiting for you!!

Enjoy Calabrian Must See places and Must Taste food. We would like to suggest some samples of excellent gastronomy (tuna, red chili pepper, red onion, swordfish…), amazing tasting of skilled chefs. Sure, we’re gonna show you two must-see like Bronzes of Riace statues and Codex Purpureus Rossanensis, two real stars of our tour. From north to south, from the Ionian to the Tyrrhenian Sea, the destinations we propose are a rather complete tale about historical and geographical Calabria.
